Donations & Fundraising
Our project runs on brains, good will and kindness – very little money – so its success to date is all down to your efforts. So why we are talking about money?
There are two reasons,
But of course, we always rely on your generous gifts of toiletries and other goods.
Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Services relies on funding from central and local government, which is being reduced year by year, along with donations from charitable foundations and the public. Any money that we are given specifically for them gets handed over.
The extra items that we need to get has varied year by year. For example, in 2017, we bought hairbrushes, hats, and gloves. This year, 2020, we are trying to make sure that every box for adults and teenagers has a small bottle of sanitising hand gel and pack of disposable face masks in it. We also have some costs involved in promotion (printing leaflets, lists, posters, labels, website etc). As some volunteers do a lot of ferrying for us we try to help out with a donation to their travel costs and it all adds up.
So we have two ways you could help us financially, use the easyfundraising referral site while you shop or surf the internet or donate using the PayPal button.

And finally...
Thank you so much for being a part of this project... ... because we can't do what we do without you.
